This is the tree Jesse Owens' may have planted and the
tree that, urban forester, Steve Cothrel determined it to be
the correct age. It is located on the south side of the Main Library
Quercus robur, crossed referenced in the Hillier's Manual of
Trees & Shrubs as Quercus pedunculata. Note the young acorns
on a 3" peduncle.
